Doodle Professional organizers can add, edit, or delete participant information from their group polls. These features allow you to:
Vote on behalf of others
Keep your polls tidy and accurate
Make changes that help you to pick a final meeting time faster
How to vote on behalf of a participant for your group poll
The ‘Vote on behalf’ feature makes it easy for group poll organizers to vote on someone’s behalf.
Important: Use the ‘Vote on behalf’ feature only when you need to complete the poll on someone’s behalf.
Use the ‘Share invite’ or 'Copy link' button to share the poll with participants who will vote for their own availability. Click here to learn more.
Step-by-step:
From the Doodle Dashboard, click the tile for the poll to which you want to add a participant
Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click ‘Vote on behalf’
Add the name, email, and votes for the participant.
Click ‘Save’
Please note:
Providing the participant's email is required for adding their response to a group poll
The added participant will receive an email indicating that the poll organizer voted on their behalf
The added participant will have the opportunity to change votes made on their behalf
Free Doodle poll organizers cannot add a participant from the list of poll participants. However, this feature is available for Doodle Professional users
How to edit a participant’s vote on your group poll
From the Doodle Dashboard, click the tile for the poll containing the participant votes you wish to edit
Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the three dots next to the participant’s name
Select ‘Edit’
Edit votes for the participant using the check boxes to the right of their name
Click ‘Save’
Please note:
The participant will receive an email indicating that the poll organizer has edited their votes
The participant will have the opportunity to change votes edited on their behalf
Organizers cannot edit the email associated with the participant
Free Doodle poll organizers cannot edit a participant’s votes. However, this feature is available for Doodle Professional users
How to delete a participant from your group poll
From the Doodle Dashboard, click the tile for the poll containing the participant you wish to delete
Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the three dots next to the participant’s name
Select ‘Delete’
Confirm the selection by clicking the ‘Delete’ button
Please note:
Deleting a participant is not reversible
The participant will receive an email indicating that the poll organizer has completely deleted their poll response
Free Doodle poll organizers cannot delete a participant from the list of poll participants. However, this feature is available for Doodle Professional users
