You cannot reschedule on behalf of your 1:1 participants via Doodle. If you want a booked event rescheduled, ask your participant to follow the steps described below.
Why can't I reschedule the 1:1 meeting I organized via Doodle?
Doodle is constructed to simplify scheduling and prevent double bookings. In the case of 1:1, connecting your calendar is not required for use. Because of this, the Doodle application would not be aware of a rescheduling event taking place on a user's calendar if that calendar is not also connected with the Doodle account. By conducting the rescheduling process requested by a meeting organizer outside of Doodle, we ensure that you are not accidentally double-booked as a result of the change.
As the participant
You can reschedule a booked 1:1 event from the link in the confirmation email you received after booking the event.
Step-by step:
Click on the hyperlink 'here' from the booking confirmation email
Select a new time and confirm your choice
If you deleted the email, communicate directly with the meeting organizer to reschedule the meeting.
Good to know:
A booked 1:1 event cannot be completely canceled via your Doodle account. If you need to cancel a meeting completely, communicate directly with the 1:1 participant.
Both organizers and participants can delete or cancel the event from their connected calendars.
Deleting a booked 1:1 event from your calendar will not automatically restore the time slot for other participants to book. However, you can edit your 1:1 to either add back deleted time slots or add new time slots.
