Have you been invited to a Doodle 1:1 and would like to know how to participate? We will show you how!
First, if you have a Doodle account, make sure to log in at the top right corner. Please note that you do not need to have a Doodle account to participate, but you will have to enter your name and email after booking so that the organizer of the 1:1 knows who you are.
Step by step
Check the event information
In the participation view, you will see all the event information on the left side of the screen - here you can see who created the 1:1 (who wants to meet with you), where it will take place, and an event description.
You will also see your time zone. The 1:1 automatically adjusts to the time zone set in your Doodle account settings or the time zone of your browser. Make sure to check your Doodle account settings or your browser settings if you are not seeing the correct time zone.
Select your calendar(s)
In the lower-left corner, you can connect your calendar. That way, you can make sure not to make any bookings where you are already busy or booked.
Check the times
Click on the days highlighted in blue to see the available time slots on the right side.
Click on a time slot to select the slot. You can only select one slot.
Enter your name and email.
Click 'Book it' to finalize the booking.
The event is booked!
Once you have booked the event, you will be taken to the confirmation page to get an overview of your booking. From here, you can choose to add it to your Google, Outlook or Apple calendar.
If you have participated from your Doodle account and you have a calendar connected in your account settings, the event will be automatically booked in your calendar and you do not need to add it manually.
Both you and the organizer will receive a calendar invitation and a confirmation email.
Reschedule your booking
Currently, it is not possible to cancel your booking through Doodle. You can remove the booking from your calendar and let the organizer know you have canceled. In this case, the best practice is to contact the organizer and request another invitation.
