Create a new booking page

From your dashboard, click the 'Booking Page' tile to begin creating a new booking page. Note: you need to connect a Google or Microsoft Office 365 calendar in your Doodle account settings to use Booking Page.

Set the details

  1. Give your booking page and the event a name

  2. Add a description to your booking page

  3. Add a location to your booking page if you will meet in-person, or leave this field blank and activate the video conferencing tool if your event will take place remotely.

Event duration and availability

Define your meeting duration, how far in advance your participants can book, and set the days and timeframes your calendar will be scanned for availability.

  1. Select the duration of the events that your participants can book

  2. Determine how far in advance participants can book

  3. Toggle on/off the days on which you would like to offer your availability

  4. Click on the pen icons to edit, add or remove a timeframe / interval

Additional settings

Completely customize your booking page by applying Power Settings, stacking scanned calendars, and automating reminders for your booking page participants.

Set max bookings per day, buffer times between meetings, and more with Power Settings ⚙️

Personalize your booking page even further by activating some power settings.

  • Booking intervals: Set the booking intervals for the bookable time slots. For example, if you have set the duration of booked events to 1 hour, and you have set a booking interval to 15 minutes, your bookable time slots could look something like this: 10:00-11:00, 10:15-11:15, 10:30-11:30, and so on. Click here to learn more about booking intervals.

  • Buffer times between bookings: You do not like to have back-to-back meetings? Set a buffer time to make sure that you have a desired buffer between each booked meeting. The booking page will update the bookable time slots every time a meeting is booked to ensure that the buffer time is reflected. Click here to learn more about buffer times.

  • Minimum advance notice: Set a minimum advance notice if you do not want participants to book with you last minute.

  • Maximum bookings per day: Even though your calendar may be free, it does not necessarily mean you would like to be booked all day. Set a maximum number of bookings per day to control how many meetings can be booked with you per day. When the limit has been reached, your booking page will remove the remaining bookable time slots for that day.

Scan multiple calendars for mutual availability with Connected Calendars 🗓️

Under this tab, you can check your connected calendars.

  1. Click 'Add calendar' to select which calendars you want to be reviewed for available time slots. No one will be able to see the content of your connected calendars. We just block the times when you are busy.

  2. Make sure the calendars you want to add are already connected in your account settings, or that you subscribe to them from your primary calendar. Click here to learn more about how to use your calendar subscriptions.

Note: You must have at least one calendar selected to check for conflicts. It is not possible to create a booking page with no calendars connected.

Reduce no-shows by sending automated reminders 📨

Tick the 'Enable booking reminders' box if you want us to remind your participants of the event they booked. We will send out the reminder 24 hours before the booked event.

Note: no automatic reminder will be sent for meetings booked within 24 hours of the meeting.

Collect payment from your booking page participants with Stripe

How to collect payments using Stripe

  1. From your Account Settings, select 'Apps & Integrations'

  2. Click 'Connect' on the Stripe tile

  3. You will be routed to Stripe. Follow the steps for connecting your existing Stripe account or create a Stripe account if you do not yet have one

  4. With your Stripe account now connected to your Doodle account, select the booking page you want to use to schedule meetings with booking fees. Click the 'Collect payment from participants' box and complete the payment details.

  5. Click 'Save' to confirm the settings

Account review process

Once you connect your Stripe account to Doodle, Stripe will verify your account for your protection. Established accounts will be ready to use in minutes, however brand new accounts will take longer to pass their verification. Please be patient during verification, and we will let you know once the verification is complete.

You are now ready to begin collecting a fee when someone uses your booking page to schedule a meeting with you! When your participants open your booking page link, they will:

  1. Select a date and time to meet

  2. Provide their name and email

  3. Provide payment via Stripe

Only when someone completes these three steps will they receive a confirmation that they have successfully booked a time to meet with you. The GIF below shows an example of what your participants will experience when they book a meeting with you:

Custom invite fields

We will always ask for the name and emails of your participants. If there is any other information that you’d like to gather, you can add a custom field or question here.

  1. Click on 'Add' to create a custom field or question.

  2. Tick the box 'Required' if you want the answers to be mandatory.

The answer to the custom questions will appear in the calendar invitation once the event has been booked.

Finalize your booking page

Click 'Create booking page' at the bottom right corner to finish the creation of your booking page.

Share your booking page with your participants

With your booking page fully created, you are now ready to share your booking page link.

Click on 'Share invite' to share your page link from your own email, or send it via WhatsApp or Slack, or add it to your email signature. Be creative! Read more about how to share your booking page link here.

With a free Doodle account, you can create one booking page. With a Doodle Professional subscription, you can create unlimited booking pages.
