Zapier Integration

The Zapier integration is a Doodle Professional feature. Make sure you have a Doodle Professional subscription to create 1:1s.

Zapier lets you connect Doodle to 1,500+ other web services. Automated connections, called Zaps, set up in minutes with no coding, can automate your day-to-day tasks and build workflows between apps that otherwise wouldn't be possible.

When a meeting is booked or changed, you can set certain automatic actions. For example, when a meeting is booked in Doodle, an email is automatically sent to your team or a slack message is automatically sent to you letting you know about the booking.

Doodle Triggers you can use in Zapier:

  • Meeting Booked: triggers every time a meeting is booked in a 1:1 or on your booking page, and when you select the final option of a group poll.

  • Meeting Updated: triggers every time a change takes place in your 1:1 or booking page - for example, if someone reschedules with you, or if you edit the meeting. This trigger does not yet apply to edits made by participants in group polls.

  • Booking Page Event Booked: triggers for ALL booking pages when an event is booked.

  • Booking Page Event Updated: triggers for ALL booking pages when an event is rescheduled

  • 1:1 Booked: triggers for all 1:1s when an event is booked

  • 1:1 Updated: triggers for all 1:1 when an event is rescheduled.

  • Specific Booking Page Gets Booked: triggers when a booking page that you choose gets booked.

  • Specific Booking Page Gets Updated: triggers when a booking page that you choose gets rescheduled.

  • Specific 1:1 Gets Booked: triggers, when a 1:1 of you choose, gets booked.

  • Specific 1:1 Gets Updated: triggers when a 1:1 that you choose gets rescheduled.

You need a Doodle Professional subscription to connect Doodle to Zapier.

How do I connect Doodle to Zapier?

  1. Log in to your Zapier account or create a new account.
  2. Navigate to "My Apps" from the top menu bar.
  3. Search for "Doodle" in the search bar and click "connect"
  4. Use your credentials to connect your Doodle account to Zapier.
  5. Once that's done you can start creating an automation! Use a pre-made Zap or create your own with the Zap Editor. Creating a Zap requires no coding knowledge and you'll be walked step-by-step through the setup.

Zaps for group polls and specific group polls:

You can use the triggers above to filter for specific booking pages and 1:1 meetings.

This is helpful if you'd like to restrict a trigger to, for example, only apply to your booking pages (and not for 1:1 and group polls), or even if you'd like to restrict a trigger to only one of your booking pages (and not the others).

However, to do this for group polls you need to use the filter option of Zapier.
Follow the steps below to add filters to your group polls triggers:

Add a filter step:
  1. In the Zap editor, click the plus + icon to add an action step
  2. Select Filter
  3. Click Continue

Restrict a trigger to the group poll meeting type:

  1. Select "Scheduling Type"
  2. Select "Exactly matches"
  3. Type in "GROUPS"
  4. Click Continue

Your Zap will now only apply to all your group polls.

Restrict a trigger to a specific group poll meeting

  1. Select "Source ID"
  2. Select "Exactly matches"
  3. Copy-paste the meeting ID of your group poll into the last field. You can find the meeting ID in the URL of your meeting.

You can add a filter at any point after the trigger and can use multiple filters in the same Zap.
