How do I change my votes in a group poll?

Have you already voted in a group poll and need to change your response? We will show you how.

Group poll participants can revise their votes as long as the poll remains open.

How you revise your votes depends on whether you were logged into your Doodle account when you responded to the group poll, or if you were logged out of your account or do not possess a Doodle account.

Poll participants without a Doodle account

If you do not have a Doodle account or were logged out of your Doodle account when you responded to a group poll, please follow these instructions.

Step-by-step:

  1. From your email inbox, find your confirmation email from when you first voted in the poll. Click the 'Review response' button.
    NOTE: If you deleted this email, you can also click on the poll link sent to you by the poll organizer on the device from which you cast your original vote.

  2. Click 'Change your response'.

  3. Make any necessary adjustments by clicking on the different time slots.

  4. Click 'Continue' to save the changes you made.

Poll participants with a Doodle account

If you have a Doodle account and were logged in to your Doodle account when you responded to a group poll, please follow these instructions.

Step-by-step:

  1. From your Doodle dashboard, locate the event for which you wish to revise your votes.

  2. Click 'Change your response'.

  3. Make any necessary adjustments by clicking on the different time slots.

  4. Click 'Continue' to save the changes you made.

Good to know

  • If you do not wish to select any of the options in the group poll, select 'Decline' when voting.

  • It is not possible to delete your participation completely once you have already voted. However, you can indicate that you do not wish to select any of the options in the group poll by deselecting any previously indicated votes and clicking 'Decline'.

  • It is not possible to remove or modify a vote for a date and/or time that is in the past.
