Die Einführung der Sommerzeit (DST) variiert international, da verschiedene Länder die Sommerzeit jedes Jahr an unterschiedlichen Terminen beginnen und beenden. Tatsächlich beachten die meisten Länder die Sommerzeit überhaupt nicht. Dies kann die Planung von Meetings, insbesondere von wiederkehrenden Meetings mit internationalen Teams, zu einer Herausforderung machen. Keine Sorge – Doodle hilft dir dabei.

Mit Doodle werden alle Meetings an deine Zeitzone angepasst. Selbst wenn ein Meeting zwischen Teams stattfindet, die unterschiedliche DST-Regeln haben, passt Doodle die Zeitzone an, sodass die korrekte Startzeit genau angezeigt wird.

Zu wiederkehrenden Meetings

Doodle selbst plant keine wiederkehrenden Meetings. Allerdings können Doodle-Nutzer ein Meeting in ihrer Kalenderanwendung wie Google Kalender, Outlook oder iCloud (Apple) Kalender als wiederkehrend markieren. Sobald das Event in deinem Kalender ist, nimmt die Kalenderanwendung die DST-Anpassungen basierend auf den Standorten der Teilnehmer vor. Bei internationalen Teams oder Kunden kann das bedeuten, dass einige wiederkehrende Meetings zu ungewöhnlichen Zeiten stattfinden. Achte darauf, dies vor deinen Meetings zu überprüfen. Wenn du unsicher bist, ob deine Meetings von der Sommerzeit betroffen sind, wirf einen Blick auf die Tabelle unten (alphabetisch sortiert nach DST-Ländern).

Hinweis:

Wenn ein Land nicht in der untenstehenden Tabelle aufgeführt ist, bedeutet dies, dass es nicht an der Sommerzeit teilnimmt.

Best Practices für Meeting-Organisatoren

Doodle empfiehlt folgende Tipps, damit alle deine Meetings – auch die, die während der Sommerzeit stattfinden – reibungslos ablaufen und alle pünktlich und gut vorbereitet sind:

  1. Verbinde deinen Kalender mit deinem Doodle-Konto.

  2. Setze eine Erinnerung in deinem Kalender, um deine Teilnehmer vor der DST-Umstellung über ungewöhnliche Startzeiten zu informieren.
